Over a decade of providing PR, press office and copywriting services for a number of businesses belonging to the science company DuPont, including DuPont Performance Polymers, DuPont Packaging & Industrial Polymers, DuPont Glass Laminating Solutions, DuPont Fluorosolutions, DuPont Refrigerants and DuPont Chemical Solutions. Industry media and topics covered include plastics, packaging, glass and glazing, building and architecture, cookware, refrigerants, automotive, design and engineering.
Engineering Design: Four years as editor and project manager of DuPont Performance Polymers' global customer magazine, produced twice a year in six languages. Responsibility for planning and generating editorial content as well as overseeing layout, translation and production.
"From Design Dreams to Surlyn® Realities": Research and copywriting of an inspirational handbook for designers and brand owners of cosmetic and perfume packaging that communicates the design potential of the DuPont material Surlyn®.
Trade show support: Kunststoffe ('K') and interpack are the premier shows for the plastics and packaging industries respectively. Scope of services provided includes: generation of press kit content, pre-show publicity (including press conferences) and stand duty as a press officer.
